Super Civil CD Softwares are compatible with Windows 7 & Windows 8

Note : Our Softwares do not work on Laptops / Desktops with Pre installed Windows 8 Basic. However Softwares will work on Laptops / Desktops where Windows 8 (Enterprise /Pro ) has been installed after formatting Windows XP or Windows 7 system.

	INSTALL 64 BIT OFFICE (Version 10 and above) IN 64 BIT WINDOWS.
A. Always Run as administrator for Window 7 & Window 8 . All Super Civil CD Softwares should be run as administrator. In order to run any software as administrator, Right click its Desktop icon and Select Properties.
In the Properties Windows, Select the Compatibility Tab and select "Run as Administrator" as shown below.
Click on Apply.


B. In case of any problem with registration of comdlg32.ocx file, a user may follow these steps.
Register comdlg32.ocx
1.	Download comdlg32.ocx save it to Windows/system32 directory, if the file is already not present in your computer. If windows is located in C: then directory location will be C:\windows\system32.
2.	Now go to Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Command Prompt. Right Click on Command Prompt , then click on Run as administrator as shown below.

3.	The Command Prompt will open up.
4.	Change the Directory to C:\windows\system32.
5.	Give the Command : regsvr32 comdlg32.ocx. You will see a message saying "DllRegisterServer ... succeeded
C. Registering OCX files for QTY and ROAD ESTIMATE SOFTWARES
1.	Click on Windows icon ->Right click on Command Prompt Icon, then click on Run as administrator
2.	The Command Prompt will open up.
3.	Change the Directory to C:\Program Files (x86)\QTY Or C:\Program Files (x86)\Road_Estimate
4.	Give the Command : regsvr32 janchart.ocx You will see a message saying "DllRegisterServer ... succeeded
5.	Next, Give the Command : regsvr32 mschrt20.ocx You will see a message saying "DllRegisterServer ... succeeded
6.	Lastly, Give the Command : regsvr32 mscomct2.ocx You will see a message saying "DllRegisterServer ... succeeded

D. Registering Microsoft Jet Oledb Provider.
	Register the following dlls in the manner mentioned above :

1.	C:\WINDOWS\System32\Msjetoledb40.dll OR C:\Windows\SysWOW64S\Msjetoledb40.dll ( For 64 bit)
2.	C:\WINDOWS\system32\Msjet40.dll OR C:\Windows\SysWOW64S\Msjet40.dll ( For 64 bit)

	For 64 bit Windows download and install : Access Database Engine (For Office 2007) Access Database Engine (For Office 2010)

E. On 64 Bit Windows (x64) download & install runtime. For Windows 7 (64 bit Version) , Windows Edition should be Ultimate, Professional , Enterprise or Home Premium Only. For Windows 7 (32 bit Version) , Windows Edition may be Ultimate, Professional, Enterprise , Home Premium , Home Basic or Starter.
The Microsoft .NET Framework version 2.0 (x64) re-distributable package installs the .NET Framework runtime and associated files required to run 64-bit applications developed to target the .NET Framework v2.0. F. If Microsoft Visual Power Packs error is generated.
Download and Install Microsoft Power Packs
G. Following Run Time Files are Required . If it is not there in your computer OR Run Time / Print Error is Reported, then download , Run on your computer & Re-Start.

H. Offline Install of .Net Framework 3.5 in Windows 10
If .Net Framework 3.5 install Error is generated in Windows 10, do the following: 1. Insert Windows 10 DVD in the Disk Drive. 2. Download net35.zip , extract it from the ZIP archive to the Desktop, right click it and choose Run as administrator as shown below.

3. The file will install .NET Framework 3.5 automatically from your Windows 10 installation media.
