Design Of ISOLATED FOOTING AS PER  ACI- 318/95 : Program Info./Limitations ( Actual program is available in Super Civil CD )

Program is for Indian users. This program designs isolated footing under uni-axial load only. No bending moment is allowed, footing is considered as pinned/hinged at base.

Structural  design is as per aci-318/95.

For stability purpose gross bearing pressure is checked against gross safe bearing capacity of soil at specified depth.

Effective depth along shorter direction is decreased by 20 mm,  assuming maximum of 20 mm diameter of bar used.

f 'c  is cylindrical strength of concrete & not cube strength.

Minimum % of steel provided is 0.18 %.
