This program designs RC rigid pavement as per given loading . | |
f y ( characteristic strength of reinforcement ) = 415 N / mm2 . | |
Tie bars are
required only if user wants to tie the adjacent lane, in anticipation of
heavy traffic, expansive sub grade etc .The spacing & diameter
of tie bars shall not exceed 750 mm & 20 mm respectively. |

Dowel bars are designed for 40 % of load transfer. | |
Clear cover to nominal bars from top shall be 50 mm. | |
