MIX DESIGN CONFORMING TO IS 10262,383,
SP 23 & IS 456-2000

 PROGRAM INFO / LIMITATIONS.
( Actual program is available in Super Civil CD )

This program is useful for only 20 mm & down graded aggregates.
Maximum of two ( 2 ) fractions of 20 mm & down aggregates are allowed.
Ordinary Portland Cement { OPC }  is assumed in design of mix.
Target strength = FCK + K x SD. Where SD = standard deviation, is taken as per
IS- 456 - 2000 Table  8 and K = tolerance factor taken as 1.65.
The preliminary estimate of the mix proportions provided by this design method, must be verified and adjusted where necessary by observing performance of the trial mix made with the materials proposed to be used.
The sand shall have a fineness modulus neither less than 2.2 nor more  than 3.2
Some relevant useful information  are as under.
