Design Of Box Angle Girder:  Program Info. / Limitations ( Actual program is available in Super Civil CD )

This program designs built-up box girder using four equal angles.

Structural steel design is as per Indian Standard No. IS:800-1984.

Design of batten / lacing is not included.

Actual deflection value is increased by 10 % , to account for any concentrated   load.

Yield stress fy = 250 Mpa.  E = 200000 Mpa.

Increase in stress factor is applied to permissible stresses, hence stress ratio is taken as < = 1. 00
