PROGRAM  LIMITATIONS

The Super Rate Analysis program is based on IS: 7272 - part - 1 - 1974. Wherever the items are available in the code, the relevant labour constants are used. For all other items various publications given in "References" are used. The recommended labour output constants for building works in the IS: 7272 code is valid only for north zone of  India comprising of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Utter Pradesh & Rajasthan. However these labour constants give fair bit of an idea about the Indian labour productivity.
Labour productivity not only varies with the place, but also depends up on:
* Application of Machinery to help labour.
* Degree of training.
* Availability of Labour.
* Attitude of Unions regarding Productivity.
* Attitude of management towards Labour.
* Following of Local practice.
* Daily Wage or Contract Labour.
* Male or Female, Heavy Or Light Work & General Physique/Health of the labour.
Considering the above variables the assumed labour productivity will be always approximate.
For File Creation, Editing and Saving refer LEARN option.

A user can export the rate analysis of individual items in PDF format by just clicking Print button.

A user can also save the info within the table by printing to a text file. For the following steps to print data to a file & not to a printer.
* Start -> Settings -> Printer.
* Add new printer.
* Select Generic printer.
* Now Window will ask for Window system disk. Insert the disk & required file
    will be copied.
* Tick Copy to file box. Give a file name with extension .txt or .doc.
* Use any text editor to view the file. Here again Window will ask for M. S. Office
    Disk. Insert the disk & required file will be copied.
    Now the text file will be displayed.
For ease of programming following default values of various categories of labour are taken. A user has to change the labour rate as per the prevailing labour rate in his area or as per the minimum labour wage. Once the Labour, Machinery, Sundries, Taxes, Water + Electricity, Profit & Over Head Rates / Percentages are changed in one file it will automatically change the values in other files.

Only 56 most important Material Items are Included in the Database.
Any change in item rate will automatically be reflected in individual rate analysis program, containing these item. Rest of the Material items shall be modified by user at individual item rate analysis window, which cannot be saved as they are not part of database.
Also once the user exit's the program the non database material values he has entered are lost. When the program is re-started the default set of values are displayed.
A user can select the required specification & right click, select copy. Now go to any editor of your choice such as note pad or word, again right click & paste. Now specification can be saved to this file or could be printed.
