main aim of " ROADS " is two fold viz;
To educate
& inform the reader.

the productivity of Road Engineers by providing interactive designs of
various components of Rigid & Flexible Pavement & Productivity
Tools.
To analyze the rates of various Road items on rational basis & hence give a competitive edge to the user while filling tenders / bids. |

Can we Save, Re-open & Edit our files ? |
| Yes And No. YES, For RATE ANALYSIS option you can Create & Edit Files. No, For all other options, direct file creation, saving & editing is not present. Rate Analysis Option : This programs option displays CREATE FILE and CHANGE EXISTING FILE options. When CREATE FILE option is clicked, a "save as" Dialogue box will open. User can select a existing Folder (Directory) & give a new file name & then click save. Thus a File is created. Now a user can input various parameters. When CHANGE EXISTING FILE option is clicked, a "open" Dialogue box will open. User can select a existing Folder (Directory) & existing file & then click open. This will open an already existing File. Now a user can edit various parameters. __________________________________________________________________ All Other Program Options (Including Rate Analysis) : A user can select the complete page by right clicking of mouse, select all & then copy. Now go to an editor of your choice such as " WORD ", again right click & paste. Once you are in " WORD ", you can edit, save or print this page. A user can also print the file directly by clicking PRINT button. |

| No. It works only on PC. The computer should have its operating system (OS) installed in C drive. | |

What if their there is any discrepancy or error found in the designs/Info. |
| The author has taken utmost care to prepare this software. However their could be some bugs or genuine errors in designs or Info. We request the users to bring these to the notice of SUPER CIVIL CD through email or by letter, describing in details the data entered, actual & expected output. Appropriate Action may be taken on case to case basis. | |

How the CD will be delivered ? |
| ROADS CD will be delivered by Courier Service or by Speed Post within 3 to 4 days of receiving the Remittance (Cheque/DD) within India. Duly acknowledged receipt will be included in the packing. | |

| Internet Explorer 6.0 & later versions shall be used. | |

Is JavaScript is must to view " ROADS " ? |
| Yes, the browser should be JavaScript enabled. All online designs are carried out using JavaScript at the user's end. Incase the JavaScript is turned off in your browser, there will not be any display of design results. | |

How do I turn on JavaScript on my browser ? |
| If you are using Internet Explorer 6+, click Tools -> Internet Options -> Security. Then select the Internet Web Content Zone, click Custom Level, & scroll down until you find the Active Scripting Category. Finally, ensure that the radio button next to Enable is Checked. | |
